I am a mid-twenties, Iowa boy who developed a love of traveling, meeting new people, and seeing the world after graduating from the University of Iowa.
I originally left home in September of 2007 with the plan of working for four months in Ireland, six months in the UK, and then returning home to face the seemingly inevitable, 8-5, real world job. Fourteen countries and sixteen months later, I returned to the US and began saving for my next trip abroad.
This blog serves as a documentation of my past travels, my future travels, and all things travel related.
I choose to travel on a budget, saving money whenever possible with the hopes of traveling longer and farther. Join me on my adventures backpacking and working abroad.
